This original serial from 1932 is an different view at how Americans vacationed in the 1930s.  It  is a good example of 1930 American's world view as the Lockharts visit multiple countries on their tour and meet a wide variety of people.   Join the Lockharts as they travel to London to Paris to Rome and back home. The Lockharts are going abroad for a vacation for two on a ship to Europe.   It's a show that chronologically   takes listeners on a journey to new worlds but unlike the high adventure shows, the Lockharts adventure is a bit more banal. The fun is in the husband-wife rapport and the back and forth repartee between two very different personalities.
