Ann of the Airlanes was a syndicated children's adventure show broadcast between 1932 and 1935. The story focused on Ann Burton, an airplane hostess employed by Interstate Airlines, definitely inspired by the success of Amelia Earhart, who also worked with the Secret Service, as did her romantic interest, pilot Jack Baker. Gerald Mohr portrayed Secret Service agent and co-pilot Art Morrison. Also in the cast was John Gibson who portrayed Pete. This was the only drama of it's time to have a female lead.
